The Dakota Audio MA-4 provide excellent voice intelligibility, originally designed for children’s science museum, with a frequency response optimized for voice and incidental music. The MA-5 provides a broader sound range when needed. The MA Series delivers a highly directional side-to-side sound with a wide vertical pattern. This design ensures effective sonic isolation between displays while offering consistent coverage for listeners, regardless of their height. To accommodate size constraints, the amplifier is positioned remotely from the speaker array and connected by a 6′ multi-conductor cable. (included). The MA-5 units are usually mounted horizontally above or below a display or screen, but have other applications such being suspended overhead to provide a “path” of sound.
